Sustainable Mode, a Eco Friendly Online shop based in Oakham, has been named a finalist for the Midlands final of the prestigious UK StartUp Awards.

The UK StartUp Awards were launched to celebrate the UK's thriving startup scene, which has seen explosive growth in recent years.

With over 900,000 new businesses founded in the UK in 2023 alone, a 12% increase from the previous year, these young companies are making a significant contribution to the economy.

The shortlisted businesses for this year's awards, all established within the last three years, have collectively created nearly 6,000 new jobs and generated a staggering £480 million in annual sales.

Founded in 2023 by Jodi Sanders, Sustainable Mode is striving to find the best sustainable solutions for home living all in one shop. The company has been nominated for the Green StartUp of the Year Award in the Midlands category.

Supported by a network of national partners, the UK StartUp Awards program honors the achievements of individuals who have transformed their ideas into successful ventures. A panel of experienced judges will evaluate the regional finalists, with category winners progressing to the first-ever UK National Final. This grand finale will be held at Ideas Fest, the renowned "Glastonbury for Business" festival, taking place on September 12th, 2024, in Tring, Hertfordshire.
